By downloading, installing, or using SmokeMukti ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

1. About SmokeMukti

SmokeMukti is a wellness and motivational tool designed to support individuals in their tobacco cessation journey. It is developed as part of an ICMR-funded research project at KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belagavi.

You must be at least 13 years old to use SmokeMukti. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

4. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You may delete your account at any time through our Account Deletion page.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems or other users' accounts.
• Transmit harmful code, malware, or interfere with the App's operation.
• Use the AI chat feature to generate harmful, abusive, or misleading content.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, and code within SmokeMukti are the property of the SmokeMukti project team and KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written permission.

7. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications for motivational reminders and progress updates. You can opt out of notifications at any time through your device settings.

8. AI Chat Feature

The AI chat feature is powered by third-party AI services and is provided for general informational and motivational support. Responses should not be interpreted as professional medical or psychological advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• SmokeMukti is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App.
• We do not guarantee that using the App will result in successful tobacco cessation.

10. Data and Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

11. Account Deletion

You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by visiting our Account Deletion page. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed from our systems.

12. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Belagavi, Karnataka.
