Delete Your Oravira Account & Data

Last updated: April 28, 2026

This page lets you permanently delete your account and all associated data from Oravira — the mobile-based oral health education tool published by Carson Rodrigues.

How to request deletion

  1. Enter the username and password you use to sign in to the Oravira app.
  2. Click Delete my Oravira account below.
  3. Confirm the action when prompted. This is permanent — there is no undo.
  4. You will see a confirmation message once deletion is complete (typically within a few seconds).

If you can't sign in (forgot password, etc.), you can also email a deletion request to the developer using the contact link in the app's About screen, or via the Google Play app listing's developer-contact email. Include the username you used.

What gets deleted

The following data is permanently removed within seconds of a successful request:

What is kept (and for how long)

For a period of up to seven years after deletion, fully anonymised, aggregated statistics (e.g. "average quiz score across all users", "median daily-care streak length") may be retained for the research study described in the app's About section. None of this retained data identifies you — your username, name, device tokens, free-text notes, and per-user logs are all destroyed at deletion. The aggregate retention period reflects standard research data-management practice; once the study concludes the aggregates are also archived or destroyed.

If you do not consent to even anonymised retention, mention that in your deletion request and we will exclude your contributions from the aggregates as well.
